Default Iceland & parts of Greenland warmer than the English Riviera today

Using the link provided for the Teignmouth weather site below, the
Google Map overlaid with world weather conditions from Wunderground,
temperatures in Iceland are currently above +20°C, and in some parts
of Greenland they are in the high teens, whilst here on the English
Riviera it is struggling to get about +15°C.

Truly remarkable for mid July here on the English Riviera!

==========================================

Highest temperature so far in Haytor today has been +13.2C.
It has been raining steadily all day and fog at times as well. More like
October than July.

Seems like this warm spell in Greenland that I highlighted back on the 13th July, was even more remarkable than at first thought.

Greenland ice melt "unprecedented"
