As Peter Kay would say: "I like it warm, but not THIS warm!" Not as hot across Northeast England as down south, but plenty hot enough. I think once the mercury climbs above 21C, keeping cool increasingly becomes a priority if you're not cocooned with air-conditioning.
Now, what I want to know is this... we're off on holiday to Cornwall at the end of this week and should be be thinking we've struck lucky and this is how it's going to be for the next two weeks? Or might the jet-stream slip south again and return us to what has so far passed for summer 2012?
