RMK: Overcast dull and grey so far this morning. Very much cooler
than recent days and much more pleasant.

RMK: The low cloud eventually dispersed around 1100z but there
was a layer of Sc above it that persisted for most of the afternoon.
We ended up with only about half an hour of sunshine. Max temp 21.4
and with more of a breeze than recently it was a much more pleasant day.

Same here Norman, 1.1 hours of sunshine and a max of 21.5c

32.9 hours for this month after 11 days

2012 Summer sunshine so far as been very poor with only 176.2 hours and with
only 20 days left we are still
110 hours behind our dullest summer on record set in 1980.
Not looking too good for sunshine next week!

36.2 hours for the first 11 days of August here, Graham. 166.7 hours for the
summer to date (from 1st June). Not a year for the sun lovers :-) Our new
neighbour is being very reticent about the performance of the array of 20 solar
panels that he had installed in March!
