Default Data on old MetO web site

2210 18/8/12

The mountain forecasts are unavailable on the new MetO site at
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/w...tain-forecast/

But, guess what?
They are up to date and available on the old site at
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/loutdoor..._pressure.html

Curious or what?

An additional problem is that the IOS MetOffice app on my iPhone and iPad have been crashing since this afternoon.

I also have WeatherMaps which has started to crash presumably because it sources its data from the MO.

Cases of if it ain't broke don't fix it and KISS I should imagine.

The old site works and presented information clearly, the new one is a heap
of stinking poo that doesn't work.

The new site tries to be clever and a "great web experience" it's anything
but simple.
