Dave, S.Essex 16mm here, and still going! Unusual sight this afternoon down by the woods, and probably due to the most unseasonal weather this year so far. The adjacent grassed area is covered with leaves, but there isn't a brown leaf to be seen anywhere, on the trees or the ground. Obviously knocked off by today's rain, but the number of them is phenomenal. You can't see the grass for the leaves. jim, Northampton |

Dave, S.Essex Hi Dave, another 44.6mm overnight bringing my continuous event total now to 76.3 mm. That is a decent amount for Haytor! Rain has now stopped at 0900 and it's brightening up a bit with a bit of a breeze. http://www.lyneside.demon.co.uk/Hayt...antage_Pro.htm Will Hand (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) --------------------------------------------- |
