16mm here, and still going!

Unusual sight this afternoon down by the woods, and probably due to the
most unseasonal weather this year so far. The adjacent grassed area is
covered with leaves, but there isn't a brown leaf to be seen anywhere,
on the trees or the ground. Obviously knocked off by today's rain, but
the number of them is phenomenal. You can't see the grass for the leaves.

Hi Dave, another 44.6mm overnight bringing my continuous event total now to
76.3 mm. That is a decent amount for Haytor!

Rain has now stopped at 0900 and it's brightening up a bit with a bit of a
breeze.

I was gobsmacked, to use an unscientific term(!), when I woke and checked
the AWS this morning - 24hr total is running at 59.6mm here in Stogursey...
beats my previous 24hr total by 35mm!
