Okay I moaned yesterday, which was a rare occurrence about UKMO website home page for London (their Choice not mine)showing two totally opposing forecasts for the same 24 hours. So today I look just to see if we have any fog to come and the temp range. The first thing I get is this bloody assumption I want the City of London forecast so I try and change the location and write in England and nothing shows. So I try UK nothing.... so then I put in Scotland and bingo so then I try Wales and the same. Now for those who work at the metO is there any explanation for this? Or is it simply Political Correctness gone mad where England is a name that is never mentioned because of it's imperialist past as a country of cruelty and subjugation. I would have thought the location search facility would cover all but the name England seems excluded.

Actually I'll email them and find out why
1) The stupid website assumes your location whether you want it or not.
2) why doesn't the location search engine see England
