Whole outside of house and all other surfaces are sopping wet and the drizzle is still falling quite steadily. Houselights on in the gloom. Fog is thicker this morning with visibilities around 80 metres, so almost dense fog. Driving OK in daylight but we are used to fog up here! 1040 Raining steadily now. Not showing on radar. Still *foggy* visibility varying 70 to 100 metres, it comes and goes. Naff all wind. T11.1C RH 100%. House lights still on and thoroughly wet outside now. Noticed that tiny slugs are coming into the house again, just removed one from the sink 1245 Back from a short 3 mile stroll. FOG is thicker now, around 50 metres at my house and 30 metres higher up. So is now getting quite thick. Seen thicker though. Still continuous soaking moderate rain and drizzle. Rate 1.0 mm/h. 1515 Fog has thinned a lot now. Up to 150 metres visibility. Up and down though. continuous light drizze. T 11.3C. All surfaces sopping wet. 1645 Fog has thickened up again. Vis 60 metres and it is raining.
