Default [WR&OBS} Copley 3/12, more SN

Hi, All,
Snow overnight, as forecast, it will probably melt away soon at the MetO
site.
First 09Z-09Z ice day of the season at the Lead Mill, up to -0.2C at 09Z ob.
Not sure what the day max was, need to download Tinytag for that (3 weeks'
time), estimate -2C.

Met O site, current 3rd 09:20Z, Wind WSW 9KT(Bft 3), vis 7 miles, broken
clouds, temp 1C dew -1C, 1002mb falling.

Copley Lead Mill 218m
Max -0.2C min -4.8C snow 7cm
Copley Met O site 253m
Max 3.0C min -3.8C grass -9.2C(under snow), rain 4.2mm(snow converted), sun
2nd 6.9hr, snow 9cm, fresh 9cm.

Hi Ken.
Surprising thin snow cover here, totally unexpected as we had light snow, then rain, then heavy sleet and wet snow around 0230, so quite a surprise when pulling back the curtains.
Decent cover on the tops around the village but the further west you go, the less there is and Garrowby Hill had about the same as us in the village.
In some ways I'm surprised it wasn't an all snow event as the max overnight was 0.4.
