Default If the sun went out?

Hi Les and all,

I've read a similar book to this, concerning a large cloud of dust
which moves between the Sun and the Earth. It predicts massive storms
developing over the oceans as the landmasses rapidly cool and generate
extreme baroclinic zones.

A film sounds like a fantastic idea, although I expect someone from
the US will soon sort it out by firing nukes at the cloud, or
something!

Danny, please take your venom over to alt.politics.british.

You will fit in well there.

'The Dark Cloud' by Fred Hoyle.

I suspect the two books may be one in the same.
