I suppose the temperatures at Lossiemouth, Kinloss and Aberdeen might
also owe something to a föhn effect. (Maybe one or two others, too, but
I'm not sure enough of their precise location.)

Default Some föhn effect today ? Rhyl 13.4°C

Teignmouth reached 12.2c this afternoon, and the sun briefly put in an appearance in Newton Abbot, as the cloud broke as it rolled over Dartmoor & decended.

All of them, I would suggest. The non-Scots locations are all to the
lee of Wales (as is mine - with a max of 12.6 today)
