Quite consistently bullish at holding onto an easterly until next
Thursday 24th January 2013. If anything they seem to be strengthening
the idea on every run.

Mindyou, still marginal for low lying areas I think throughout the
period.

Thing is Keith, an Easterly has been mentioned for two weeks now, but
without sounding like Miranda's mother we haven't had "what I call an
Easterly" yet! Still a light northerly drift which has scuppered any
early chances we might have had of snow showers off the North Sea. I
remember when..... blah, blah ;-)

For me this promised easterly is very similar to the December one, just a very slack northerly with the real cold only happening when the freezing fog set in. At least we got a couple of cm snow on Monday. Let's wait and see if Friday and the weekend bring anything for the east.
