Default Sharp East-West Temperature gradient.

This is normal in January, but recently it's been particularly steep. Up to 20C occasionally.

E.g @ 08:00 today
Scilly 9C
Plymouth 4C
Marham -11C

This gradient will decrease dramatically should we ever actually get an easterly in southern England, Sunday possibly.

Dry & bright in Penzance yesterday with some weak sunshine, but very dull and damp this morning. 7.7C @ 08:50

Graham
Penzance
