Default Disruption underway

Trough disruption is now underway looking at the IR satellite imagery.
Is this a tad earlier than thought?
If so the extent of the snow NE will be less as it will be shoved back
westwards faster.
Although the upper front I think is responsible for the expected snow in the
east. Always a bit hit and miss with those.
We shall see!

T+2.5 and rising here! D-0.7C and rising too! @20:05
Should it be doing that with snow forecast?
And you're worried :-))
It'll work out once the cold advection in the strong SE'ly kicks in and the
precip starts.

I'm sure you'll be pleased to know the temperature has dropped 3 to 4C from the mildish conditions this morning. 9.2C at 11:00 down to 6C in Penzance and falling.

It's also now blowing a gale on windward coasts.

Land's End down from 10,) to 6.4C http://www.landsendweather.info/ (click 'here' for full data)together with a mean speed of 39mph - F8

With heavy driving rain it's thoroughly unpleasant.
