Trough disruption is now underway looking at the IR satellite imagery.
Is this a tad earlier than thought? If so the extent of the snow NE will be less as it will be shoved back westwards faster. Although the upper front I think is responsible for the expected snow in the east. Always a bit hit and miss with those. We shall see! It's also now blowing a gale on windward coasts. Land's End down from 10,) to 6.4C http://www.landsendweather.info/ (click 'here' for full data)together with a mean speed of 39mph - F8 With heavy driving rain it's thoroughly unpleasant.
