Default MetO concerned about a snowy spell this month

Behind the scenes the MetO are very concerned about another snowy spell this
month. Due to uncertainties nothing much has been said yet for fear of
"damaging the brand" and setting the Press off on one. But looking at the
charts this morning it would seem something more definite will be announced
in the next day or two I expect. Going to be an interesting month I fancy
with borderline snow events to contend with :-)

Don't tell him he completely messed up January 25th - February 6th, and
that is being extremely generous considering we are supposed to be still
buried by snow from blizzards!

Surely Will UKMO only have to use simple words like 'maybe' or'could'. They really don't help themselves with their garrish OTT warning system.

I mean 'National Emergency' . War is a national emergency not a bleedin' couple of inches of snow. I'm sure in days gone past they would have said weather not too bad just acouple of inches of snow. In my view anyone visiting their website would come away with a very different opinion from reality.

"Behind the scenes............." Please give us a break Will. You've retired and already you've used your retirement to snipe at your former employers........yet you imply you are in cahoots with them all and they are all telling you news which is secret from the rest of the population. *((
