Does anyone know of any good satellite, rainfall upto date images for the Caribbean. Specifically the lesser Antilles. I have a couple of links but they cover such a wide area it's difficult to see the detail.
Today the sea, even on the Caribbean side of Antigua, where we are staying, has a good swell and red flags are flying on the beach, even though the wind is from the NE (off land). SLightly cooler today as it appears the last of the cold USA plunge has just shown it's very slight influence as it meets the sea (27c) http://www.weathercity.com/ag/saint_johns/ As usual, these sorts of forecasts seem to bare no relationship to what's happening on the ground. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/tatl/flash-avn.html The best I have currently. Cheshire College also has some good stuff, but it would be nice for some zoomed in areas for detail. Many thanks Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" |
