Tideswell, Derbyshire - Thursday 14th February 2013
----------------------------------------------------- 0630z WNW F2 5000 -RADZ 8St003 03.7/03.7 1006 RMK: A slushy mess with a steady thaw in progress. 7cm lying snow. There was a spell of about 4 hours of freezing rain yesterday evening that resulted in a thick icy crust on the snow. There appears to have been a spell of very heavy rain between 0330z and 0430z. The temp was only +1.5 at the time. I don't know if there was any sleet in it. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. |
