Once again sunny on the coast. It did cloud over around 15:00 yesterday, and there was a brief shower around 08:00 today, but since 10:30 it's been glorious. A swell on the south coast now http://www.minack.com/webcams.htm . Rather less cloud over the hills than recently and the satellite imagery suggests a good deal of sunshine well into the afternoon.

Nice when you get 2 consecutive days better than expected, slack low pressure often provides sunshine right on the coast, and rather good of the MetO to ensure than bands of showery rain have recently crossed west Cornwall overnight. 1.4mm in the 24 hours to 09:00 today.

NO slack low pressure soon. The strength of the NE wind, rather than any snow, could make Monday a bit of an experience in these parts.
