Bright at first with sunny intervals and broken cloud, but cloudy from mid-morning until early afternoon. Bright again with sunshine and decreasing amounts of low cloud later in the afternoon, but the sun was weakened somewhat by a veil of high cloud. Still distinctly cold for the time of year. Little wind in the morning; light E breeze in the course of the afternoon..
