Default Freezing day in many places in the north: Bingley -1.7°C maximum

I thought the BBC were forecasting a max in Plymouth today, even as late as this morning's news, of +9c? They got that a bit wrong with a max of only +6.4c

But given that Camborne, not that far to the west, had a max of 8.6°C,
they didn't get it that far wrong in terms of distance.

From a personal point of view, I wish the BBC would use Exeter & either Penzance or Newquay as representative temperatures for the South West instead of Plymouth. Plymouth is often quite different to that of East Devon, whereas Penzance/Newquay is more often than not similar to that of Plymouth.
