Overnight snow left a general cover of about 6 cm this morning. Overcast but dry during the day except for a few scattered snowflakes at first.

Temperature a degree above freezing in the afternoon: snow cover still intact but has thawed from above and below to about 3 cm.

Moderate E wind fell light from late afternoon and tended to back ENE in the evening.
