Default Frog spawn

The frog that laid it's eggs in my pond a week ago must be regretting it
now!

I've seen two fully grown frogs dead on the pavement the last week - no injuries they appear to have just perished

Yes mine was last week. I think freezing must just put it into some
cryostatic state because it must be a fairly common occurence.

Had frog spawn in the pond for about a month now, and I checked this
morning and the some of the tadpoles have hatched and are swimming about.

There was a thin layer of ice on the pond this morning after a minimum
of -2.1°C. Soon melted in the sunshine and the cold doesn't seem to have
bothered the tadpoles.
