Temperatures rising very fast here on the Wirral with a moderate SE breeze
and clear blue sky. Looks like its going to be the hottest day of the year and excellent weather for the Wirral show. Current temperature 26.1°C here and Bidston just to the north is showing 26.0°C http://www.nbi.ac.uk/home/realtime/weather/ Alan -- Wirral, Merseyside. 53.2N 3.0W 40m amsl |

Alan,
Beautiful correlation with local observatory Alan. A little cooler here on the western slopes of the Pennines with the current temperature (14:50BST) standing at 25.0C. We're already past our highest recorded temp of the year (previously 24.6C on 31st May) Steve -- ================================================== ====================== Steve Graham Rossendale Lancs 950' AMSL ================================================== ====================== "Alan Duckers" wrote in message ... Fantastic day in the central lowlands also. Looks likely the maximum at
this site will be +25.3°C today - the warmest of the year so far. Accompanied by a fairly fresh breeze which makes it very comfortable. Seen many red-skinned (no SPF) people frying in the sun mind you - silly beggars.
