Default Back-to-back double digit max, sunny days, Aberfeldy

An 11 and a 10.5C with lashings of sunshine. We still have snow in the dykes down on valley floor level (shaded side of valley) but the Coltsfoot are out amid the now turning Snowdrops down by the rivers edge. Still perishing at night mind you.

13.8°C here today and out in the garden this afternoon I did some
strimming and mowing of rough grass to create a path. Earlier this
evening, I saw a bee. Things are getting better. The larch stand on the
other side of Loch Long is still stubbornly brown, however.

You're spoilt!

A maximum of only 10.8°C here despite 9 hours of sunshine.

And that 10.8 maximum is the highest temperature since the 19th March,
though we have had 3 double-digit maxima this month.

West of Scotland Walled Garden Effect. Glasgow Bishopton recorded a max
of 9°C.

We also had a westerly flow which set in at about 10:00Z and which
lasted until about 19:00Z at which time the direction drifted back to
the familiar easterly. Could this have been a sea breeze? Glasgow
Bishopton retained an easterly flow all day.

Our main daffodil patch still has to flower, lesser celandine are in
leaf but no blooms and the trees are showing little sign of activity. It
must have been a very brave bee.

Impressive, about 10C warmer than it has been in Sussex.

Todays Max: 14 C Min: -4.5 C

First time above 5 C since the 14th March. 5th March was the last time above
10 C but it was only that day. TBH I'm a bit dubious about 14 C, it was
fairly still and I wonder if warm air from the shed roof was getting to the
sensor. Unfortunately I wasn't here to know what it felt like out, but a fair
bit more snow at our level has gone, only about 50% cover now.
