Drizzle, drizzle

A ground drenching 4.0 mm here today. The hills are shrouded in low
cloud and there is persistent light drizzle.

The allotment will have to wait until tomorrow.

I managed to get the last main bed dug on mine this morning just before
the rain arrived. Planted some fruit bushes on the community allotment
in pouring rain this afternoon. Yes I know it is not a good idea to
plant things into near-saturated ground but I am taking a chance that
this is the last of any significant rain for a while, so the roots won't
be in waterlogged ground for that long. I did plant some fruit bushes a
month or so ago in far worse conditions and they have thrived, probably
thanks to a fortnight of dry weather following.
