Cloudy start but bright by mid-morning with weak sunshine through a dense veil of high cloud. High cloud cleared for a time after midday and it was sunny with scattered shallow Cu, but high and medium-level cloud increased again in the late afternoon. Moderate NE wind in the afternoon.
