Up to 1740Z, it was an uneventful day; mainly cloudy with sunny
intervals and a couple of very slight showers. Since then, in spite of more sunshine, a pair of squalls have raced through, raising the wind from force 4 to a brief force 7 (for a couple of minutes each time). Squall no.1 (gusts to 37kt) was accompanied by a moderate rain shower but the second, stronger squall of 40kt only mustered a slight shower. Large mammatus can be seen on the back edge of the Cb and a complete, strong double rainbow with supernumary bows are currently observed.
