I heard the media talk of this possibly being one of the driest July's for many a year. However, I do feel this is a tad premature, looking at the charts for next week.
If, and this is a big 'IF' it didn't rain at all for the rest of the month, I would indeep record my driest July, past driest 5.8mm 1983, aas I currently stand at 1.2mm. Again, I stress the media, not the Met Office, who regularily get stitched up. Keith (Southend) http://www.southendweather.net "Weather Home & Abroad" |
