Default Met Office Anomaly Maps?

Where's the July actual/anomaly maps? I normally find them here http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/uk/anomacts/

PLEASE don't tell me they are now only available somewhere on the new site, swamped by adverts & requiring a super computer creating several tons of CO2 to load.

I'm seeing them at that link but July 2013 doesn't seem to be available yet. I assume soon.

Thanks. I'm pleased to say the format is still similar, but with some changes.

e.g if you go direct to the map page http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/climate/...aries/anomacts

The old site defaulted to the previous month, the new site defaults to January.
The load time on my PC has increased from 1 - 2 secs to 4 - 5 seconds.

Pretty instantaneous here.

Just a remark or two in passing...

Its good to see that the 1981-2010 max temp anomalies support what I was moaning about during the very warm spell i.e. the positive anomalies for Dunkeswell were higher that those of Heathrow. I just wonder what anomalies the republic of Ireland recorded if the +3.5°C of the west of Northern Ireland are anything to go by.

And the other thing is the rainfall totals for south Devon underline the third drought this area has experienced this year.

Bruce.

6.4 mm of rain this month to date and 59 mm of rain for the summer so far.

Today's sunshine should bring the monthly total to 100 hours and the
sunshine for the summer so far is now at 635 hours.

The low rainfall and high sunshine amount combined with above average
temperatures means we've been stuck in an almost persistent
environmental drought here since mid-June.

While at the other end of the meteorological spectrum we've had 256 mm of rain
so far this summer and 329 hours of sunshine. Lush green countryside and muddy
footpaths :-) It has been very warm, though.

Just to let you know that I emailed the Met O about this and they say
they hope to change the default from January to the previous month soon.
