The NW of Scotland may miss out on this, but with 80% certainly, I can say this, with the agreement and consistency shown by the models over the last 24 hours:
**At T+240, on 21st August, much of the UK will be experiencing days which are warmer and drier than average. Nights may be cooler, especially in rural areas, under clear skies, but south-eastern areas, especially, will be experiencing some wonderful late summer weather". I hope it lasts through the Bank Holiday. (First of all, I hope the forecast achieves outcome, for the middle of next week, mind!). |

Possibilities for a decent Bank Holiday Saturday are pretty good ATM, but Sun/Mon is just off my 10-day radar at present. |

It will cap a really good summer. |

Care to share with us why you keep replying to my comments with the witless 'idiot' or can you not articulate yourself properly? You seem to dismiss anyone who disagrees with you with pointless and unfounded insults. Your derision of Tudor is an utter DISGRACE. And if Im an idiot you, sir, are a charlatan - peddling your forecasts that no-one has any interest in reading and are probably just lifted off netweather and Matt Hugo's site. SHAME ON YOU!!!! |

And once again, you sir are rude and ignorant. You are also stupid. One day, you will insult someone whilst hiding behind your keyboard. That person will be a psychopath . . . . . . . . . . The (your)End! |

Jim's remark was essentially about the sesnationalism and dishonesty of the Daily Express. But it implicitly endorses your forecast. For some unfathomable reason the red mist descended and as a result you have achieved a resounding USW first, that of destroying your own thread. There's no answer to that, as Eric Morecambe would have said. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |

The NW of Scotland is missing out, but the low that wasn't forecast 10 days ago is spoiling the party for too many others today. It's been a very good summer for my forecasts, but this is the first failure in the last 9. My 10-day prediction for the bank holiday may well go down a similar tube........ |

Has been a lovely day today here in Sussex/Surrey. Has been getting warmer as the week progresses. |
