Lawrence
I read articles that also suggested that the raw data had been post processed - I think it was the Russians who said that the CRU had failed to use sites which showed cooling. That's what surprised me with the graphs for Siberia showing the opposite. If the WMO were doing its job properly this is were we should be accessing all our world climate data concerning global warming from and not from a university funded by the US government - you'll have to forgive that last remark I did promise to keep politics out of it! Bruce ================================================== ======================= And where do you think the WMO gets its funding, if not from governments? BTW, have you not heard about Prof Richard Muller's independent investigations. Last year, his team showed that the Earth's land has warmed by 1.5C over past 250 years, with humans being almost entirely responsible. http://www.theguardian.com/science/2...cs-change-mind They were funded by the Koch brothers through a private charity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politic...ing_skepticism Cheers, Alastair. |

I know. Hilarious, really. The Koch Brothers would have had no idea, when they chose to fund this, that the science would actually win out. BEST report here.
