Default Petits Pois size hail Wembury

Observed Cu development and darkening skies to the east during the afternoon with the odd rumble of thunder but had to wait to 1700 BST for all hell to break loose.

Some of the biggest hail I have seen in Wembury for a while. Mostly petits pois size. And a deluge of biblical proportions with 16.3 mm in 15 minutes,
1700 to 1715 BST.

Max 23.5 C and 90% RH as a precursor.
