We seem to be getting some exceptionally mild nights for the time of
year - if it carries on, it could be one of the mildest Octobers on record!

This setup with a high over Scandinavia and a low over the Atlantic
bringing persistent southerly winds is similar to March 2012, is it not
(although the low is much closer to the UK this time)?
