Sunny and warm with a brisk southerly wind. Largely blue sky with just patches of high and medium-level cloud until mid-afternoon, but frontal cloud increased rapidly at the end of the afternoon. Abrupt heavy downpour around 19.45 local time: 15 minutes or so of heavy rain was followed by lighter rainfall until some time after 21.00. Dry subsequently and the cloud has broken now.
