I notice that there is a strengthening tropical storm in the middle of the

GFS, CMC, NOGAPS and UKMO models are all agreeing that Kate gets as far north as around 33N then shoots off West under the influence of the Mid-Atlantic high and decays pretty rapidly. OK, It finally looks like it is going to fizzle out before it gets here. But it was exciting while it lasted though, wasn't it? ;-) I have certainly "kept an eye on it" over the past few days.
