Trade rumours are that the rights to the name etc have been bought out by another business and that the name might reappear at some point, albeit probably fronting a completely different business. What on earth is an 'electric name'? ============================== I think the Honourable Gentleman was probably referring to the URL (or online identity more broadly) in his circumlocution. I know what he means though - for a business like that, the online name is much more important than any bricks and mortar aspect, at least as far as trading potential is concerned. JGD |

ll.co.uk... whois is your friend to see who owns the domain, assuming a ..co.uk: ================================================== It's not huge illuminating in this instance, probably because the information is out of date (despite a recent edit). The company who are apparently going to be operating the business in the future don't appear on the current Nominet record. But in any event it's not a big deal - the details will all be made clear in due course no doubt as and when the new owners get properly up and running with WF (or decide to merge it with their existing business/website). |
