I went on the SVR today from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. I noticed in
places the river severn is nearly breaking its banks. May need the flood defences back up at Shrewsbury and Bewdley. When the rain zipped through this morning I was hoping the wave depression wasn’t going to form or at least mainly miss the severn valley. When I looked at the MO RADAR for 13.30, it didn't look to bad. I lost my network connection between Bewdley and Bridgnorth. By the time I looked at the MO RADAR for 15.30 I thought, “No chance!" and gave up photographing with long exposure as a lost cause. Joe Wolverhampton. |
