Default [OBS] Romsey - Wednesday 15th January 2014

We don't need any more of this! Continuous rain and drizzle since
daybreak, occasionally moderate with a heavy burst 1228-1233Z.
The sky has turned more convective in the past half hour and a
downpour commenced at 1545Z. Puddles/ponds/lakes are
showing signs of expanding again.

Fortunately, the heavy shower didn't last long but quickly added
another 3mm to the burgeoning rainfall total which has already
just passed a staggering 140mm for the month, an average of
10mm per day. The Fishlake Meadows road remains flooded
and has yet to open in 2014. Maybe there should be a reopening
ceremony when it does so.
