I must confess that after weeks of rain, hail, snow, lightning, floods
and hurricane-force winds I still didn't see this coming:

Yes I particularly like the caption under the photograph

"And more freak weather is about to lash the country - more gales and downpours into Saturday"


So the UK's long tradition of normal winter conditions as far has human history has been remembered of wind and gales in the winter is now considered in the disturbed mind set of the left eco fruit cake as "freak".


Who'd had thought. Time to revise the history of the weather of the British isles.

Is it possible that the rain has soaked the overlying soil to such an
extent that the heat generated within the peat has been unable to
escape, causing the temperature to rise to a dangerous level?
