Default 32.7C (90.9'F) in the Forest of Dean

Hey guys,
currently here in the Forest of Dean i am recording a temperature of 32.7C
(90.9F) with a humidity of 25% and a dewpoint of 10C. This is the hottest i
have recorded here so far this year, but i expect it will be hotter tommorow
and tuesday too...

currently here in the Forest of Dean i am recording a temperature of 32.7C
(90.9F) with a humidity of 25% and a dewpoint of 10C


That's 2.5°C warmer than anywhere else in the country. I would be highly
suspicious of that reading if I were you.

Yes, that's about what I read in my mini-screen which, on a very brief
sample, has been 3-3.5C too high (though pretty close on minima).

I found the reason for the high reading...

the thermo sensor is on a north facing wall. However, glass in a
neighbouring building was reflecting the sunlight directly onto the sensor
for a period of about 30 minutes... this happenned yesterday too so i guess
it needs relocating. I have now placed a portable sensor in a sheltered
north facing area so should get a more accurate reading today!
