According to GISS data, this January was the 4th warmest on record.
The 12-month period Feb-Jan was the 5th warmest. 11-year running means of this data shows a 3 year flat-lining at the end of the curve (Jan 2009) but no downward trend as yet. -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks.
