You deny that CO2 is unlikely to be the main source of the current warming Actually I agree whole heartedly that CO2 is unlikely to be the main source of current warming. |

http://www.theguardian.com/environme...trogen-dioxide I think they probably have a point about NOx problems in London and for that matter on Teesside. I have flown into both often enough and seen a pall of bronze coloured NOx haze hanging over the city. In summer it forms an orange-brown coloured layer hanging above Middlesbrough as you descend - not sure how bad it is now steel making is largely shut down. But having said that I fail to see why Athens which naturally traps pollution in the city doesn't also fail on this criterion miserably. Blimey that's rich as most of the Eastern Europeans are here causing it!!!!! Can I say that? It is the sort of xenophobic comment we have come to expect from you. -- Regards, Martin Brown |

Since the NO2 is caused by traffic fumes, I can only assume that Lawrence thinks East European drivers in London are the only ones causing the trouble. Not sure how that works; are they all driving Trabants? -- Graham P Davis, Bracknell, Berks. Mail: 'newsman' not 'newsboy'. "Welcome to the year of the whores. This country gas a fantastic record on immigration but it doesn't matter who your are or what colour. sometimes the ship is way above the plimsoll line. But lets look at the term Xenephobia "a fear of foreigners'. I wasn't in any way displaying a fear of foreigners , I was only trying to make a point about the EEC and their hypocrisy. I have to say, we live in a world where if the baby doesn't fit in with the life style we murder it and yet you take offence at a mild gag like that? This really is a human problem or perspective and perceptions. |

Instead, you express your foul far right-wing views and most people are simply sick of it. |

And yes the amount of eastern Europeans and other foreigners over here putting an intolerable stress on out health services , education and housing is a very serious issue indeed and our politicians and idiots (like you) starve and neglect our own elderly to fund the their dwindling vote base as they sup at the trough of inequality, unfairness and damn right corruption. Yes it was a gag making a bit of a point about the double standards of the EEC which no doubt being a card holder ex cp er you support. Now just answer the bleedin' question Do believe that only the human 80ppm of co2 is driving, if any, temperature change during the last hundred years. Now it's all going to pot, as you have let your xenophobic slip show again like you always do, as you can't keep it hidden and you are starting to disintegrate, again; like you always do. |
