14th Moderate to heavy snow early afternoon gave a 2cm covering which
had cleared by late evening

23rd am Very gusty SW winds with the corresponding barograph trace
showing a 'saw-tooth' pattern.

Another winter month with no air frosts and no days of snow.

Can't really comment fully on winter as we only arrived here in mid
December. However no days of snow cover at 0900 and no air frosts in
that period. That must be unusual for here and makes a mockery of the
impressive range of snow clearing paraphernalia which came with the house.
