Default Penzance - Particularly sharply defined front.

As the front cleared Penzance around 22:45 yesterday, there was a particularly sharp drop in the windspeed. At my site from F6 to almost calm in 5 minutes.

Shows up well at Land's End http://www.landsendweather.info/ (click on 'here' for details)

A dramatic change here after the sunshine of the last few days. The sun managed to last until late afternoon yesterday, then it went downhill very quickly.

The afternoon has been rather better than the 2 black raindrops on the forecast suggested, and I managed a decent walk round St Ives without getting wet.

With shelter from the blustery F6 SSW wind there was a decent enough wave.
http://www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/SI.html Short wavelength as it's locally generated, but reasonably clean.

Rough on the south coast though.
