Last 4 days:-
24 hours ending 09:00 on 28/04 0.9mm 29/04 0.0mm ) MetO 5 Day foreast for Pz 30/04 0.0mm ) gave a yellow rain warning 01/05 3.4mm Couple of brief drizzly showers since 09:00 today, amounting to 0.3mm, together with sunny intervals. The front seemed to pep up as it moved across Cornwall & SW England this morning. Graham Penzance |

Heavy showers still continuing, but a clearance is slowly approaching from the west........ |

Maximum of 15.1C Total April Rainfall in Penzance was 66.7mm (83% of 1981-2010 norm). The temperature anomaly was less than most of the UK as we were frequently on the west (cooler) side of fronts stuck over the UK. Mean 10.5C (+0.6C) It did mean we sometimes had clean Atlantic air when many others did not, notably during the 'smoggy' spell. Graham |
