A shower this afternoon has yielded yet another day of hail
in 2014 when another clatter of 5mm diameter stones fell in
a three minute moderate outbreak 1512-1515Z. The shower
itself was quite compact making it a very localised one. The
hailstones were opaque, just like yesterday. 21 days of hail
in Romsey is over double our usual quota for an entire year!
