The reason for my particular interest is we're going to the Lake
District Bank Holiday week and would be nice to get some fine, warm &
dry weather. Atm, anything goes from what I can tell. Any thoughts anyone?

They look rather similar to me but then as far as I can see one blocking High is as much like the next. It IS interesting that rotating cyclonic systems give way to them though. Perhaps some of the ridiculous funding for the brain dead might be diverted to research some of that?
