Default Moscow heat...?

No quite the May record but 29.4°C in Moscow today, I believe 30°C is
what's to beat.

I see the maximum temperature was 23C in Rovaniemi, Finland and 31C in
Tallinn, Estonia today. I don't know if these are exceptional but they
seem on the high side.

this time of year, so the 31C for Tallinn could well be exceptional
given that it's on the coast.

Dry bulb temperature of 28.9°c as 30's the one to beat for May...
