No quite the May record but 29.4°C in Moscow today, I believe 30°C is
what's to beat. -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@LawnscienceEssx |

I don't know if these are exceptional but they seem on the high side. -- Nick Gardner Otter Valley, Devon 20 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

I imagine the water of the Baltic would normally still be quite cold at this time of year, so the 31C for Tallinn could well be exceptional given that it's on the coast. -- John Hall Weep not for little Leonie Abducted by a French Marquis! Will be looking closely at the 18z synop later as Moscow synop @ 12z was: AAXX 26121 27612 42597 32601 10289 20108 39953 40131 58021 83100= Dry bulb temperature of 28.9°c as 30's the one to beat for May... -- Keith (Southend) "Weather Home & Abroad" http://www.southendweather.net Twitter:@LawnscienceEssx |
