NORTHERN INDIAN OCEAN (INCLUDING BAY OF BENGAL, ARABIAN SEA)-
Tropical cyclone development is not expected within 24 hours.
SOUTHERN INDIAN OCEAN (INCLUDING WEST AUSTRALIA, MADAGASCAR)-
Tropical Cyclone Abaimba, with 55 mph (89 kph) winds, is centered 485 miles
west northwest of Diego Garcia near 4.5S/65.8E, moving southwest at 4 mph (6
kph). Abaimba will turn west southwest over water, strengthening during the
next 24 hours.
WESTERN NORTH PACIFIC (INCLUDING THE SOUTH CHINA SEA)-
Tropical cyclone development is not expected within 24 hours.
CENTRAL NORTH PACIFIC (INCLUDING THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS)-

ATLANTIC (INCLUDING CARIBBEAN SEA, GULF OF MEXICO)-
Tropical Storm Kate, with 70 mph (113 kph) winds, is centered 1425 miles
east of Bermuda near 32.2N/40.2W, moving west at 12 mph (19 kph). Kate will
continue west over water, strengthening to a hurricane during the next 24
hours.
