Fine Offset N96GY bought from Maplins at Xmas. Worked perfectly till a
couple of weeks ago. For 4 out of the last 5 nights, and 4 other nights since the start of June, all outside readings have failed to get through to the base station, between the hours of 2am and 8am, approximately - varies each night by up to an hour and a half inwards (ie shorter at each end). Last night at 10 minutes past past midnight, all outside readings ceased. New batteries in outside and inside units have failed to re-establish the connection. Outside unit shows live with transmitter light flashing. Over the last 3 weeks, I have had pack up on me, terminally: * Freeview DVD recorder - 8 o'clock one night about 3 weeks ago. * Freeview receiver - 6 o'clock one evening 2 weeks ago, exactly the same time as all outside readings on the AWS went haywire, though connection stayed intact. * Wireless door bell - within the last two weeks. * AWS - last night just after midnight. Also I've had a hell of job getting laptops and printers to connect to the home wireless network for the last 3 weeks. I reckon I know what's causing it, but would be interested in anyone's else's ideas. Police and BT have both expressed disinterest. Two emails to the interference section at the BBC have been ignored. Who should I contact? jim, Northampton |
