Default Already twice as wet as June

Well, all but.
31.5mm of rain in June and 60.9mm so far this month, all of which has fallen since 4th.
On Sunday a line of thundery rain ran along East Yorkshire, with very little west of here, totalling 23.9, most of which fell in an hour.
Today a similar occurence, but this time it's been over and to the west of us. Total today, 25.9mm, with 25.3 falling between 1315 and 1400 ish.

Pocklington, 15 miles W, only one sizeable, 15 min shower at 0330 and none yesterday (watering my v. dry garden last night). Well done for today's UKMO severe weather forecast- the original boundary (before mid-morning widening) was a pretty perfect fit for the area of precip.

Of course, the public making isopleths out of the available UKMO data would produce nonsense...

David.
